Introduction:
Jardin means garden in French. In 1988, when instant coffee was the dominant choice in traditional Korean coffeehouses, known as “dabangs,” they took a courageous first step in transforming the domestic coffee culture by introducing the specialty coffee shop “JARDIN Coffee Town.” Since then, they have continued to break boundaries, introducing innovations like Korea’s first brewed coffee in cans, the first convenience store-exclusive coffee pouches, and the first dried fruit and fresh fruit powder-blended tea. These milestones reflect their spirit of innovation, its courage to face challenges without fear of failure, and its unwavering pursuit of excellence.
Since then, the first canned coffee beans in Korea, the first coffee pouch exclusively for convenience stores in Korea, and the first dried fruit and powder blended tea in Korea have been introduced.
It represents Jardin’s spirit of challenge, innovation that breaks the mold, and courage that is not afraid of difficulties and failure. Jardin’s exploration never stops. We hope that Jardin’s journey to lead a new food culture beyond new products will enrich the world.

Jardin’s R&D center is responsible for everything from coffee farm exploration and green bean selection to sensory development for the best flavor and aroma. We have continued to conduct research and development covering the entire process up to quality control of the final product.
