Letter of Intent for collaboration between the International Labour Organization and Chungcheongnam-do Economic Promotion Agency in the context of the project Promoting Sustainable Enterprises In India (PSEI)
Whereas, the International Labour Organization, represented by the International Labour Office through its Decent Work Team for South Asia and Country Office for India (hereinafter “ILO), and Chungcheongnam-do Economic Promotion Agency, (hereinafter 'CEPA'), referred to jointly as the “Parties' and individually as a 'Party', wish to collaborate under the project 'Promoting Sustainable Enterprises in India (PSEI)'.
Whereas, the PSEI project, implemented by the ILO, is supporting value chain development in the sectors food processing (especially, fruit pulp and fisheries), garments, and textiles and seeks to facilitate integration of sectoral micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) into value chains, with the objective to catalyze local economic development in Andhra Pradesh and Odisha.
Whereas, CEPA, is revitalizing the local economy in the Republic of Korea and provides support to local MSMEs in Chungcheongnam-do province since 1999 and founded the “New Delhi Centre of CEPA" in India in 2020, to explore and support expansion of MSMEs from Chungcheongnam-do in India.
