Strategic Bilateral Partnership: CEPA India & FGI
To formalize this landmark bilateral alliance, CEPA India and FGI officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 25th August 2026 at the FGI Business Centre in Vadodara, Gujarat.
Under this framework, CEPA India and FGI will establish a strategic alliance designed to accelerate cross-border trade, technology transfer, and industrial integration between the Republic of Korea and the State of Gujarat. Utilizing the trade liberalizations under the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), this collaboration will focus on creating high-value synergies between Korean technological capabilities and Gujarat’s world-class manufacturing base.

Strategic Market Access & Integration: Establishing institutional frameworks to seamlessly connect Korean exporters, technology providers, and investors with vetted industrial partners, buyers, and distributors across Gujarat.
High-Level Bilateral Engagements: Jointly organizing specialized B2B matchmaking sessions, executive trade missions, investment roadshows, and policy roundtables to deepen commercial ties.
Technology Co-development & Supply Chain Resilience: Facilitating joint ventures, OEM partnerships, and technical collaborations in advanced manufacturing, green energy, automobile components, and ESG-compliant industrial processes.
Market Intelligence & Advocacy: Sharing curated trade data, regulatory briefings, and sector-specific insights to lower entry barriers and provide end-to-end facilitation for enterprise expansion in both nations.
