Construction Industry Development Council (CIDC)
CIDC (Construction Industry Development Council) is an apex body established by the Planning Commission of India and the construction industry to promote capacity building, skill development, quality standards, research, and sustainable growth in the construction sector. It works across training, certification, infrastructure development, project management, and industry modernization to strengthen India’s construction ecosystem.
With the MoU signed on 21 January 2025, CEPA India and CIDC aim to collaborate on future initiatives that support industry skill enhancement, encourage bilateral participation in construction-related projects, and create platforms for knowledge exchange between Indian and Korean stakeholders. This partnership envisions joint programs, capacity-building efforts, and opportunities that contribute to innovation, quality improvement, and long-term sectoral development.
